To request images or to carry out a iconographic research you may write to: archivio@ulianolucas.it. <br \/>The archive consists in over 100,000 black and white negatives and 5,000 color photos on the social history of Italy from the 60s to date (with a predominance in pictures taken in the North of the country) and about 100,000 negatives and 10,000 slides taken in Europe, Africa, Middle and Far East since the 70s. <br \/>The archive is organized in the following way:<\/p>\n<h1>Italy<\/h1>\n<ul>\n<li>The real social status of the Country since the early 60s to &#8217;67 (industrialization and motorization, the new consumption, strikes, demonstrations, migration etc.)<\/li>\n<li>Art and Communication in the 60s and 70s (painters, graphic designers, architects etc.)<\/li>\n<li>The youth (the myth of the rock, the first pipers, the first bands and cabaret)<\/li>\n<li>The birth of the student movement as well as anti-authoritarian and pacifist movements<\/li>\n<li>The birth of the movement for civil rights (abortion, divorce, feminism)<\/li>\n<li>The passwords of the various movements, dissent and creativity in graffiti and murals<\/li>\n<li>The psychiatric matter from the closure of mental hospitals to today<\/li>\n<li>The movements and organizations of the new left political wing (Democrazia Proletaria, Potere Operaio, Fourth International, Autonomia Operaia, Avanguardia Operaia)<\/li>\n<li>The subversive organizations of the right political wing, the Italian Social Movement, the silent majority, the neo-fascist terrorism<\/li>\n<li>The strategy of tension and the years of terrorism<\/li>\n<li>Life and organization of Italian political parties (with particular attention to the Communist Party and the Christian Democrats)<\/li>\n<li>The trade unions and trade union unity, the birth and development of the Flm (marches, processions, trade-union assemblies, factory committees, auto-reductions, 150 hours, home and health right: the three cases: Seveso, Ciri\u00e8, Scarlino)<\/li>\n<li>The work environment from the 70s to today (life at the factory, juvenile work, black market, employee world, new jobs and job insecurity, technological innovation in the last twenty years)<\/li>\n<li>The Catholic world and its changes after the Second Vatican Council<\/li>\n<li>The Family and its transformation from the 70s to today<\/li>\n<li>The realities of the South of Italy between the old and the new (the agricultural environment, the mechanization of agriculture and industrialization, urban areas and the change of custom)<\/li>\n<li>The armed force institutions (conscripts, police, uniformed workers, life in the barracks)<\/li>\n<li>The territory and its transformation from the 60s to today: foolish building, transport, pollution, the endless city, architecture and landscape (with particular attention to Turin and Milan, Liguria, Friuli Venezia Giulia, Veneto, Emilia Romagna, the Abruzzi, Apulia)<\/li>\n<li>Custom and society in the last forty years<\/li>\n<li>Foreign immigration, from its beginning in the early 70&#8217;s to its explosion in the last two decades (marginalization, work and integration)<\/li>\n<li>Publishing and journalism from 1970 to date<\/li>\n<li>Trends and protagonists of culture from 1970 to present<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h1>Abroad<\/h1>\n<ul>\n<li>The Italian and extra-European emigration in Europe<\/li>\n<li>Movements and wars of liberation in Africa (Angola, Mozambique, Eritrea, Bissau Guinea)<\/li>\n<li>Portugal under Salazar, the movement of the captains and the carnation revolution<\/li>\n<li>Spain under Franco r\u00e9gime and the movement of the Eta<\/li>\n<li>The struggles for civil, labour and political rights in Germany, France, Belgium, England, Spain and Yugoslavia<\/li>\n<li>Israel and Palestinian matter<\/li>\n<li>The places in the Mediterranean: Algeria, Tunisia, Morocco, Lebanon and Libya<\/li>\n<li>The children&#8217;s homes and international adoption in Korea and in India<\/li>\n<li>The changes inside Africa: the 80s and 90s<\/li>\n<li>The conflict in Yugoslavia<\/li>\n<li>China in the new millennium<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><\/p>\n<ul><\/ul>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The photo archive of Uliano Lucas&#8217; works is going to be digitalized.
